Meet Alex and Josiah

Alex and Josiah were matched in October 2023 in our school-based program. Although the match is fairly new, they have made amazing progress! Alex wanted to a Big in our program because he said that he wants to be able to give back to all of the people who helped him when he was younger. Josiah’s mom said that she grew up in our program and is still connected with her Big Sister today. She wanted her son to have a positive male role model in his life to him to be an extra support to guide him as he grows.  Each week, this match greets each other at school each week with huge matching smiles and immediately launch into a conversation about they both did in that week that they didn’t see one another. It’s the story in their smiles that says everything.
